AI-IT INC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit ai-itinc.com, contact us, use hosted sites or applications we maintain, or use the Affiliate-it Platform and related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Important: Where Facebook/Meta OAuth is used for social integrations, you log in on Facebook’s site — we never see or store your Facebook password.

Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact & project inquiries: Name, email, phone, and project details you submit through forms or email
  • Account information: Business name, email, contact information, and credentials for platform accounts
  • Business data: Profiles, menus, pricing, settings, and related business content
  • Customer / lead data: Information you upload or that visitors provide through widgets (subject to your disclosures)
  • Content: Materials you create or upload
  • AI knowledge & chat data: Knowledge documents for AI widgets, conversation transcripts, visitor chat logs, and leads captured through AI features
  • Payment information: Billing details processed by third-party payment processors
  • Support communications: Information you share when contacting support

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: Pages viewed, features used, and analytics events
  • Device information: IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Cookies and similar technologies: Used for site function, preferences, and analytics (see Cookies below)

Information from third-party integrations

  • Facebook / Meta: Access tokens and page information when you connect social posting
  • Marketplace / partner data: Order, inventory, or listing data needed for optional integrations
  • Analytics providers: Aggregated or pseudonymous analytics (for example Google Analytics) when enabled

How we use your information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve AI-IT INC websites, custom software, hosting, and the Affiliate-it Platform
  • Respond to project inquiries and customer support requests
  • Manage accounts, subscriptions, and billing
  • Power AI widgets, RAG knowledge search, content generation, and related automation via AI providers
  • Enable optional marketplace and social integrations
  • Send service-related notices and important updates
  • Analyze usage to improve services (including GA4 measurement ID where configured)
  • Comply with law and protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats

We do not sell personal information for money.

AI features, business data & model providers

AI-IT INC and Affiliate-IT include AI-powered features such as widgets, knowledge search (RAG), generation tools, and visitor chat.

What we store on the platform

  • Knowledge documents scoped to your business (and optionally per widget)
  • Search indexes (chunks and embeddings) derived from that content
  • Widget conversations, visitor chat logs, and lead information
  • AI configuration (provider choice, model preferences; API keys stored encrypted and not shown in full after saving)

Inference — not training

We do not use your business knowledge, documents, or chat transcripts to train or fine-tune proprietary foundation models. Features use retrieval-augmented generation: relevant excerpts are sent at request time to generate a reply; we do not update model weights with your content.

Third-party AI providers

Portions of text (visitor messages, retrieved knowledge snippets, configured business context) may be sent to providers such as Together AI, OpenAI, or Vercel AI Gateway depending on configuration. Provider terms apply. If you use your own API key (BYOK), your relationship with that provider may apply directly. AI-IT INC is not liable for harmful, inaccurate, or non-compliant outputs from customer-chosen models or keys.

Controls & retention for AI chat

  • Edit or delete knowledge documents in the dashboard
  • Choose Platform or BYOK providers in AI settings
  • Widget conversation history is retained for 90 days, then purged by scheduled jobs, unless law or agreement requires longer retention
  • Product-improvement sharing is off by default where offered in-product

What we do not do

  • Sell knowledge documents or chat logs to data brokers
  • Use your business content to train our own foundation models
  • Share indexed knowledge with other businesses (tenant isolation by account)

Website analytics (ai-itinc.com)

This marketing site may use Google Analytics (GA4 measurement ID G-0V0C5LKV45) to understand traffic and improve content. Analytics may collect device, usage, and approximate location information as described by Google. You can limit cookies through browser settings. Affiliate-IT demo widgets on this site load third-party Affiliate-IT scripts; interactions may be processed by Affiliate-IT under its product terms and this policy.

Marketplace & partner sharing

When you enable marketplace or partner integrations, we may share business, order, inventory, or account identifiers needed to operate those integrations. Partners have their own privacy practices. Integrations are optional and can be disabled; previously shared data may remain with the partner under their policies.

Facebook / Meta integration

  • Login happens on Facebook; we receive tokens and page info needed for posting
  • We may store access tokens securely, user/page IDs, and basic post records
  • We do not store Facebook passwords, friends lists, or private messages
  • You can revoke access in Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites

Data security

We use industry-standard measures including TLS in transit, access controls, encrypted storage for sensitive fields where applicable, and secure handling of tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Data retention

We retain information as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and maintain required business records. Account deletion and “delete my data” requests are processed according to product controls and legal exceptions. Marketplace partners may retain shared data under their own schedules.

International transfers

Information may be processed in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you understand those transfers may occur. Partners and AI providers may process data in their jurisdictions.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, opt out of certain processing, restrict, or object. To exercise rights related to Affiliate-IT / AI-IT INC platform data, email contact@affiliate-it.com or contact@ai-itinc.com. We respond within timeframes required by applicable law (including up to 45 days under CPRA, with permitted extensions). For data held only by marketplace partners, contact those partners directly.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have additional rights under CCPA/CPRA. We may collect identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, and professional/business information you provide. We do not sell personal information for money. Certain advertising, analytics, or affiliate/marketplace sharing may be considered a “sale” or “share” under CPRA — you may opt out by emailing contact@affiliate-it.com or contact@ai-itinc.com. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale/share where applicable.

Children’s privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can delete it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
